But here's something also--I just looked again at the map, and you're SO CLOSE to Syria! How weird is that? I mean, I'm not close to Syria at all. Are you allowed to go there? Would you want to?
I SO want to know more about what it's like in Irbid! How many people live there? Do you walk everywhere? Have you made any friends yet? What's the Arabic word of the day? (Yeah, I know that's not really related to you being in Irbid specifically, but I'm doing stream-of-conscious at this point.)
What a thrill it was to see you guys this morning on the computer. Your description of the city, and the people was wonderfully vivid, and satisfying. Are you able to make use of your studies to learn where to go, and what to see? It all sounds very challenging. But, if any one can make it you two certainly can.
